A Humble Beginning...

The organization had a humble beginning in the 1940s with the initiative of Late Madan Mohan Dey, an entrepreneur who successfully recognized and leveraged the business opportunity in trading of dairy products during the 40s and 50s.  The business primarily focused on wholesale distribution of milk powder in the local market and had negligible presence at the retail level. However, the scenario started changing when the current director, Mr. Moni Mohan Dey took over as the business head and turned around the company strategically positioning it as the biggest player in the retailing sector as well.

Since then, the organization, which started off as a sole proprietorship concern by Late Madan Mohan Dey, has grown manifold times under the management of his son, Mr. Moni Mohan Dey and achieved popularity and prosperity.  In 1998, after almost four decades of successful operation, the organization adopted its present form of a private limited company with Mr. Moni Mohan Dey serving as the Managing Director of the company.  Under the successful leadership and guidance of the current management which of the company, M.
